Tapes ‘n Tapes
It came to knowledge that ever since the moment my ears were delighted with the sweet, sweet melodies of The Illiad, I was obsessed. Tapes ‘n Tapes are a band based in Minnesota that have been recently receiving an abundance of attention towards their latest album, The Loon.
Every “sounds like” band I’ve come across happens to make little to no sense at all. In result, I’m hesitant to compare Tapes ‘n Tapes with anyone else mainly because I’d rather not give a false impression. With that being said, I present to you a rather accurate equation:
catchy sounds + head-bobbing rhythms + memorable lyrics / anger due to the fact that their tour comes no where near me = a fantastic, and highly addicting listen. Hook it to the vein.
